About This Project

DispoSuite is the web application owned by Schneider Electric. It aims to help electrical technicians plan electrical enclosures, as well as manage cost and material needs.

Given that it is an already existing application, we were asked to improve the application using modal windows, so development costs and time gets cut down to a minimum.

One user can work on many projects, that are created around a specific client, but contain electrical enclosures setup.

Two pain points that were identified were the need to be able to manually create a single enclosure and clone it as many times as needed, but also be able to edit the individual clones.

Our solution was to create a 4-stage enclosure creation process, in a modal window, that would end with a review screen. This screen allows the user to review the bill of materials, download it, send it out via email, or print it out.

Given that the platform was designed for electrical engineers and technicians, and is of industrial type, the User Experience and ease of use held priority over making the visual design “pop”.
